So It appears that it’s all but decided that the Honours and the Baughs will be spending the Holidays on a Disney Cruise to Nassau and Castaway Cay.
My Mom is very generous to take the family on a vacation and I’m sure it will be a blast. (I hope to post some entries all about the experience.)
I think every one is kind of in Shock right now regarding the trip but I for one am looking forward to an awesome time.
The details are still being worked out but I think it’s all but decided. Kelli is looking forward to it as much as my 2 year old niece Allison is.
Cross you fingers for safe and happy travel.
Bon Voyage!!!

I had another one of these in my lunch today and all I can say is that it’s awesome. They are a little pricey but well worth the extra buck. If you are a fan of a crispy and juicy apple then do not walk but run to pick some of these up. I promise that never has an apple been so Grand.

So I heard great things about this graphic novel/Children’s book. It’s a wordless migrant worker story that is sure to fascinate. If you are a fan of Chris Van Allsburg then Shaun Tan is going to really be up your alley.
It has just recently come to the US from Australia and is sure to win some awards and some hearts.
www.newsarama.com has a great interview with Shaun Tan over HERE
The guys over at Comic Pants have this to say about The Arrival:
The Arrival GN (Scholastic):
Randy: These guys publish Bone and Goosebumps, and that alone is enough to get me to check it out. But even if it weren’t, the haunting image on the cover of The Arrival grabbed my attention, and the story, about a man who kisses his wife and child goodbye to travel to America and build them a better life, sounds potentially great. Certainly high praise from Jeff Smith doesn’t hurt. (page 336)
Dan: It takes a real master to do a silent book properly, and that creator needs a great concept to do justice. From what I see here, we’ve got both, and I’m really looking forward to this.

Here is a review that I thought was pretty good

So Veronica (Kristen Bell) now Elle (etric) on Heroes shows up searching for Peter and not afraid to kill some people. She was talking to someone at the end of this episode about this being her case and or her job. She ends that car conversation mentioning “daddy”
Could Elle me related to someone who we already know?
I can’t wait for Elle vs. Cheerleader
My guess is that HRG guy has another daughter that we have yet to meet.
I think this is Claire’s half sister -Same mom different dad.
Welcome your thoughts

Update: - I just saw this over @ http://useyourability.net and I thought it was worth mentioning
Some info info Kristen Bell let slip about her character
1 ) Bell’s Chracter Elle is “a little bit off”
2 ) Elle will find Peter
3 ) Elle has a “very interesting dynamic” and a much “deeper relationship” with Claire than people think. Joking but accidently hinting they might be sisters!! -I called this one if and when this happens
4 ) She appears in Episode 5, but will not return until Episode 8 & 9.
5 ) Bell is signed for only 13 episodes so far.
6 ) Vol. 2 Generations will end by Episode 11 with cliffhanger to Vol. 3
7 ) Fans should “fully expect” to see some of the characters leave
8 ) We will see more of the 12 in the picture.
9 ) Joanna Cassidy could possibly be the person standing next to Mr. Parkman
10 ) Bell mentions she was “not offered” a role on LOST
11 ) Bell says she wants to work with Quinto (Sylar) and face off against him because they are good friends in real life.
So I’m from Louisville and these people do not represent me or any one I know.
However I will be rooting for my home team.
Here is a little bit about my home town team.
Go Team Goth!
Kynt: Louisville, KY
31, Waiter/Receptionist
Vyxsin: Louisville, KY
29, Waiter/Receptionist
These best friends have been dating on and off for over three years. These purveyors of Goth, pride themselves on keeping Louisville “weird.” In their own hometown Kynt and Vyxsin are very active in their local scene, regularly hosting and acting as emcee at rock shows and club nights. The most difficult part of the Race will undoubtedly be keeping up their daily “make up” routine. Between the two of them, Kynt and Vyxsin have collectively had their hair dyed 18 different colors. Fashion is a passion for these two.
Vyxsin claims that the biggest difference between the two is that she is very emotional while he is more reserved. She has been trying to get him to open up more and express his true feelings, to which she claims she’s having success. Vyxsin describes herself as compassionate and theatrical and she works as a waiter at Ramsi’s Cafe.
Kynt is a waiter at the Texas Roadhouse Restaurant. Kynt describes himself as abstract, atypical and avant-garde He claims that the biggest difference between the two is that Vyxsin is more emotional while Kynt is more sarcastic. Both have also worked as receptionists at a local hair salon for several years.
Together, they enjoy shopping, dancing and doing each other’s hair/makeup. Besides a mirror Kynt and Vyxsin’s favorite thing to stare into is their computer monitor as both are admittedly MySpace-addicts. Additionally, they both enjoy roadtripping to Sci-Fi conventions across the country where as Kynt puts it, “They feel right at home surrounded by Storm Troopers and Wookies.” Both have a dream of someday attending the Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig, Germany, which is the largest Goth/industrial music festival in the world.
Representing the “Goth” community in Louisville has embedded a strong sense of “us against the world” mentality in these two Racers. Therefore, don’t look for them to fall apart when the chips are down, a trait that will undoubtedly be tested on the Race
I thought this was pretty neat stuff by Justin Reed.
