Great Turkey Weekend

I wanted to write this to Thank everyone for a great Turkey Weekend. Starting with the Honour’s side -Thanks Everybody -Kelli commented and I would agree that the food was great and the family time was awesome. Thanks Emily,Mike and Allison for the Shrek 3 viewing -Love you guys. Heck-even being referred to as Uncle Poop by my niece wasn’t too bad

Then it was off to Kelli’s side -The food and company was great. A little crowded and the piano was a bit much but I had a good time. Special thanks to the Guys at Tapitios for dealing with us on Black Friday -Thanks for the Non-Turkey food.

Also I had a great time with Randy and Colin at the Movies – We should make it a tradition -A great time to get a way from the kids and the ladies. American Gangster was pretty good too.Great story and some fine acting here. I’m glad I choose this one -sure to have an oscar nod for sure.

Last but not least – Thanks to my beautiful wife for dealing with me -I can be a handful when it comes to close quarters and lots of noise.

Love you Kelli -I am most Thankful for you!

So I am a really big fan of Danny Boyle.

I’ll be at Best Buy on January 8th when it comes out.

For the record the cover is really really bad. But my mom told me it’s what’s inside that counts so I’ll be buying it none the less.

Here is a little bit about the DVD:

The Movies of the Weekend :Resident Evil:Extinction and Spiderman 3

So I went and saw this movie at the Cheap seats(see pic on the right)- I spent a whole 3bucks. I really have enjoyed this series -I really seem to get into the Undead/Zombie movie genre-I can’t explain it. With this 3rd installment you get lots of zombies all over the place -on a side note zombies during the day don’t scare me as much as they do at night. I would say that of the 3 it’s better than the 2nd one but not quit as good as the first. You have to give the first one it’s props.

I’m not going to talk about the acting because it’s a zombie movie but I thought the directing was good, the story a little weak and the characters pretty good. I wanted more character development but it is a zombie movie.

Not sure if they make a 4th but I would check it out. I’ll pick this up on DVD just to add it to the other 2 -Got to have the trilogy. I would suggest you go see it if you like the Undead/Zombie genre. (Click the poster for other reviews)

I also saw Spiderman 3 on Blu ray and it was better than I remember. I originally thought it sucked now I just think it kinda sucks. My buddy Jeremy who is not a comic purist really liked it so I guess there is an appeal but I think Sam Rami takes a lot of dramatic license with the source material. I will say that the casting is excellent.

If you like Spiderman -go in with an open mind and don’t believe all the hype. It’s fun in Hi-Def and the story isn’t all bad. Not a bad rental.

Enjoy,

Not on my Christmas List:Funny Cook Book

Cooking with Pooh Is it me or does this book not appeal to one’s “tummy”.

I’m not sure the marketing people over at Disney ever considered how this one would go over. Also for those who find themselves in someone’s kitchen were this book is present …..I would run.

Good Cooking,

I just read over at comingsoon.net and over at aintitcool that X Files 2 is already starting shooting and the buzz on the Web is that it’s coming as early as July. Which is awesome

I am a big fan of this show -A common interest of both Kelli and mine. I think the first time I went to her house was to watch an episode.

I miss Mulder and Scully I hope too much time hasn’t past.

Heres Hoping

And the Truth is Out there -You just need to google it to find it.
