So I love movies. For the record so far 3:10 to Yuma was my favorite movie of the 2007 movie year with American Gangster a far second, but along come the Coen Brothers and blow it away. I saw this movie: No Country for Old Men with a lot of trepidation. First I had heard things and heard an interview with Josh Brolin. But I had fears: -I have a love hate relationship with the Coen Brothers films. Most of them I liked, some of them I loved some them I thought were pointless.
I can report that …….I loved this film right from the start. The characters are great, I liked every twist of the story , loved the dialog and really enjoyed Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem and Tommy Lee Jones.
This film isn’t for everyone but if you can just sit back and enjoy I think you are in for a treat.
If it doesn’t win an Oscar I will be shocked.
I hope you enjoy this flick.
