So (Finally) Lost is on Tonight. Here is what the great people at TV Guide are Telling us :

The premiere picks up on two plot threads left dangling by the finale: potential rescue by the frieghter crew and the fallout from the death of junkie rocker-turned-self-sacrificing hero Charlie (Dominic Monaghan). Monaghan may no longer be a series regular, but that doesn’t mean you won’t see him again. [...] (One [of the survivors who made it off the island with Jack and Kate] will be ID’d in the season premiere.) [...] But even before [the February 7 episode, the boat people will] prove divisive, pitting one group of Oceanic 815 survivors who will risk everything to get rescued against another, including Locke, who will do anything not to. As for Sun and Jin, their reactions will have everything to do with their baby. “Sawyer’s a bit cautious about people coming to rescue them,” [Josh] Holloway says. “He’s come to the realization that there really is nothing back home for him. His life wasn’t good. I don’t think he’d know what to do back there.”

Bring it on! I’ve been warned that there is a BSG type reveal in the next several episodes which leads me to believe maybe some one is from the Island and simply doesn’t know it or remember it or………Someone is a Cylon :) .

Enjoy

Please post your reactions to the new episodes pronto, I can’t wait to hear what every one thinks.

So Sienna Miller (Baroness) is in the movie which is promising “Yo Cobra!” but recently others have been announced that make me very worried. Here is the list of Joes and Cobras:

Channing Tatum (Duke) Dennis Quaid(General Hawk), David Murray(Destro),Arnold Vosloo(Zartan),Ray Park (Snake-Eyes), Byung-Hun lee (Storm Shadow), Rachel Nichols (Scarlett), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Heavy Duty) and Said Taghaoui (Breaker)

If you are nervous, yell “Yo Joe!” three times, maybe Mr. Stephen Sommers will hear you and make some sense of this cast.

Yo Joe! Yo Joe! Yo Joe!

Please GI JOE where ever you are help us.

I simply can’t wait for Season 2 to start. This is one of the best and smartest shows on TV. I’ve enjoyed it from the beginning and I was happy to hear that the “Nuts” campaign to save the show worked. Even though Season 2 will only me a mere 7 episodes I here that those 7 episodes will be packed with Jericho goodness.

This is good TV – If you aren’t simply addicted after a few episodes then I would say that you may need to be commited or give up your TV.

ENJOY,

So my buddy Chris and I spent the very cold Saturday at the movies -We got in early -$5 -Awesome.

The Verdict: “Untraceable”, staring Diane Lane, was not too shabby. Overall I thought it was pretty entertaining although their were scenes that were a little hard to watch. After the film I commented to Chris that it was a James Patterson Novel minus Alex Cross. I say that in fun but that’s really what you get here.I would recommend this one as a rental or a cheap seat ticket but nothing more. Just your typical popcorn suspense flick.

Shortly after dropping Chris off , I met up with my lovely Wife who wanted to do something.

Neither of us had any good ideas. So we went to the local bookstore and loiter for a bit. Kel bought a few books so there was some sense to it all. Then Kel sugested that we check out the nearby cinema for a “Girly” flick.

Seeing that “Enchanted” Was starting in the next 10minutes we proceeded to attend a viewing.

The Verdict: It was really good. Surprisingly good. The cast was great and the writing was smart.I would highly recommend this movie to both young and old. Very Disney-ish.Kelli and I both were most entertained

BBC says Next 007 Movie = Quantum of Solace

The BBC is confirming that the new Title of the next bond film is Quantum of Solace (The title comes from a lesser known short story included in Ian Fleming’s 1960 For Yor Eyes Only)

Take a look over a JoBlo.com for more info on this new bond film

Or over at Aint it Cool

Per commanderbond.net

The Plot

Quantum of Solace sees James Bond out for revenge on a mission that takes him to Austria, Italy and South America.

According to the synopsis, Bond girl Camille, played by Ukrainian-born Olga Kurylenko, leads the secret agent to Dominic Greene, member of a mysterious organization and a ruthless businessman, seeking to control huge natural resources.

Greene is played by Mathieu Amalric, who starred in the Oscar-nominated The Diving Bell and Butterfly. The plot follows on directly from Casino Royale as Bond aims to uncover the truth about Vesper, the beauty who betrayed him, and discovers that she had been blackmailed. ‘James Bond is after revenge, and Camille is after revenge and they have slightly different goals, but in the end they are going to have to collaborate,’ Kurylenko told reporters.

Additionally, Empire Online uncovered further details regarding the plot for Quantum of Solace:

The plot centres on an attempted coup in a South American country. Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric) wants to control one of the world’s most important natural resources and to aid in this he makes a deal with an exiled South American general to get him back into power.

Olga Kurylenko’s character, Camille, is half Ukrainian and half South American. She leads Bond to Greene in his effort to find out more about Vesper, the woman he loved and lost in Casino Royale.

Empire also reports that Mathieu Amalric isn’t planning on portraying the newest Bond villain as a larger than life figure. He said: ‘He’s not an over the top villian… no scars, no metal jaw—he is nude [which Empire assumes meaning no visual oddities].’

CBn will be updating throughout the day for all the latest news and complete coverage of Quantum of Solace

I’m Switching Books : Going with Patterson’s Double Cross

So I am a pretty avid reader. And I have lots of interest. My wife would even say that I am a shade ADD.

That being the case I really couldn’t get into “All the Pretty Horses“. Just not in that mood. There are seasons for different kind of books I am told.

I really wanted too but it just couldn’t hold my attention long enough. So I’m going for an old standby -James Patterson.

I have read too date just about every Patterson book published. I have a few that are on my shelf IE.. “Honeymoon” that I haven’t go to yet but hope too soon.

I was given over the Holidays “Double Cross” by my awesome wife Kelli Ann.

I love the “Cross series” to death. Images of Morgan Freeman seem to dance in my head as I read the prose.

So that is what I will hopefuly start reading tonight.
