Over the weekend it appears that the good people over at the WB are going Blu.
Here is an article over at Wired : Warner Bros. Goes Blu-ray Exclusively
Sorry Jeremy for the Push to HD-DVD format.
Internet speculation is that both New Line and HBO will follow suit.
Looks Like the PS3 will be busy with the Lord of the Rings and Batman in 2008 -:)
Oh yeah by the way …..Our local Blockbuster’s HD movie selection Sucks!!!! We want new movies in HD not 10 year old movies.

Oh yeah Props to Chris for Donatos Pizza suggestion on Friday. 
mmm Mariachi Chicken Pizza.
And the “War” was a great “guys movie night choice.”

This is good to know about Blu-ray.
I think Blu-ray is gonna win, because after watching several films on HD-DVD, it is clear the picture quality is not as good as Blu-ray. (Even the 1080P isn’t comparable.) Sometimes, in the Blu-ray it is clear the transfer of the orginal movie negative had a flaw. This cannot be helped.
In HD-DVD, it looks like the whole thing had transfer issues. No contest.
And for all those reading this, I do have better than normal vision. Your experience may vary.
Speaking of visual appeal, why did this Salesman’s Life go all black and eerie? I liked the up-beat version prior to this.
