Indy 4 – A Fun Popcorn Flick

Filed under: Indiana Jones, movies

So I took in the “must see movie of the week” over the holiday and I have a few things to say;

  • It was good to see Dr. Jones again, whip and all.

It was good to see Mr. Buff getting acting jobs -I thought his run in with the law at Walgreens  might keep the Buff down. Is this guy in everything?

Having said that -The “Alien” stuff is bad but the chase scenes are good.

The Green screen stuff is bad but Harrison Ford is great.

The story is weak, but the Library chase scene is awesome and fun.

The Sean Connery reference is a great moment -the last 15 minutes is corny  and reminds me more of another movie -the one with Richard Dreyfus (no not the shark one).

It was fun. It is a popcorn movie. Take it for what it is.

Refrain from letting the hype tell you otherwise.

Enjoy

I think Indy 4 was a great movie, no bad to mention.

It is full of great moments. “I don’t think he plans that far ahead. OH!”
“If you want to be a great archeologist, you got to get out of the library.”
“I do believe sister, that’s why I am back here.”
“Marianne, why didn’t you make him finish school?”
And don’t forget the ending with the hat blowing to Junior, and him almost trying it on.

Forgot to mention Indy Jr. calls himself Mutt, and inside joke for the fans.
“Indiana was the dog’s name!”
